My verses for the first two weeks in February are:
Isaiah 50:4-5 (NIV)
"The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back."
Thank you for your prayers for me as I went to Amelia Island to serve the sweet ladies of Amelia Baptist Church. We had a great time with about 80 ladies in attendance. We just about froze to death, though. Whew it was cold, cold!!
