Fear paralyzes you!
Let’s look at Mephibosheth – he is the son of Jonathan and grandson of Saul – Saul and Jonathan had both been killed in a battle with the philistine armies – the news came back to the handmaiden taking caring of Mephibosheth and she was full of fear. In her haste to flee with the young boy she dropped him and broke his legs causing him to be paralyzed. Her fear made him parlayed.
That is how fear works in our life. Think about walking through the woods and you happen up on a snake. What do you do?? FREEZE - because you are scared. Look at it on the spiritual side: that's what the enemy whats us to do...when he slides into our lives trying to bring discouragment, depression or division into our lives. he just wants us to be full of fear and freeze! I say get out your sword (Bible) and kill him with the word of our LORD!! We have VICTORY through JESUS!!
When we are faced with problems whether it be financial, family or failure you can respond in two ways. Faith or Fear – can’t have them both. Faith will not operate with fear – and fear will not cooperate with faith. What does it cost you to have faith? Or fear? Faith is free – Jesus paid the cost at Calvary for us to freely operate in faith. Do you know that he sees us in our worry and is asking His Father, Why do they worry and fret? Fear of the unknown causes much stress and worry. We serve a GOD that knows the plans that HE has for us – Jeremiah 29:11 – HE is the man with the plan. No need to take matters in your own hands..HE has the whole world in his HANDS!
I struggle with worrying over my children, I love them deeply and I want to see them spread their wings and soar high for JESUS! I want them to desire the deep things of the LORD – to see their selves through GOD’S eye. Not the critical eye of their Mama. My critical eye is a struggle – I really don’t mean to be a negative force in their lives – I just want to encourage them and well, I struggle doing this in a positive manner, but I am working daily to fix this within my heart. Daily I will give GOD access to my heart to complete this work within me. I have to fix my eyes on HIM - that is the only way to have FAITH in the FATHER!! Fix your gaze on HIM!!

When the child’s nurse heard the news, she picked him up and fled. But as she hurried away, she dropped him, and he became crippled.)
Too GOD be all the GLORY for this can only be done through FAITH!!!
