January 15th Memory Verse

Romans 8:38-39 New Living Translation
38) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39) No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is one my man's favorite Bible verses. So I am memorizing it for him! This one's for you sweet "Thang!"

Marvelous Marco Island

Hey There!
I'm reporting in from Marco Island, Florida. Todd is here on business and I'm enjoying some pleasure. So I thought I'd share a few pics...

On the plane - If you're thinking I look tired...
Well, I was - I only had 4 hours sleep the night before...

Naples Zoo

Boat ride
It would not be right if I didn't have a story to tell about my adventures.. On the boat ride you cruise around a lake that has about 5 little islands. And on each island there are different species of monkeys. The monkeys stay on the island because they are afraid of the water ( so the guide told us) well, this little guy, I'll call him "Skunkie" was on an island all by himself :( The guide told us, earlier in the day that Skunkie had actually jumped on to a tour boat.

So as we float along, we come to another island that has about 6 of Skunkie family on it...so my mind goes to wandering (I always get in trouble when this happens) - So here is the rest of the story. After everyone unloaded the boat I asked the tour guide -. "Why don't you put the monkey that's all by himself on the other island (with the other Skunkies)so he won't be lonely?" Well, the tour guide (older gentlemen - probably retired) started mummbling around and said...well, it's a long story about how he got over there - (I thought they were afraid of the water?) and well, we are trying to figure out how to get him back over to his home. Oh, so that's why he was trying to hitch a ride....See how much information you can collect when you ask questions. I'm so glad to know that little Skunkie will get to go home - I would have lost sleep thinking about that pitful little monkey all by himself.

Sidebar : Isn't that like us, we know that living outside of our secure relationship with GOD there is only loneliness and danger -and when we are living in sin - our heart is always longing to go back home....

Todd and the gators ( He is fascinated)

Here we tried to take a pic together (I was waiting)
But, we have not quite figured out our new camera and the timer thingy
But , I wanted to show you this huge tree...

Be blessed in JESUS!!
Lovin' Life and Lovin' the LORD!
