Yes, I did indeed feel the love. With my Mother and Nanny there giving me support - it was super-duper!! And my Sista Joyce - well, she drove more than 2 hours to be at the Conference. She blessed my heart! Now I tell you that's a friend! I thank GOD for my family!!

Hey Sweet Siesta Sistas!
Well, I first, want to THANK you for all your prayers over me and for the conference. The LORD was with us the entire day. Each room that the Sistas attended they received a word from GOD! I will NEVER forget this weekend and what it meant to me. Personally, I thought I had complete healing in several areas only to realize that I still had a few hard spots. PRAISE the LORD for HIS faithfulness to me!! I totally understand it !! REVEAL ~ DEAL ~ HEAL!!

I'm calling on you to PRAY 4 me. I'm "spreaching" (Speaking/Preaching) this weekend in Lawrenceville, Georgia at THe Divine Design Women's Conference (GO, JESUS) and I need all your prayers. I know that GOD is LARGE and in CHARGE of my everything and I'm not in the least anxious or worried.....you know I'm not good enough to mess GOD up...I just want to make HIM proud. Also, pray for the Expressive Dance Team from The Torch - they will be ministering in this conference with me. Thank you!!

What's a "Siesta"?

Isn't "siesta" the Spanish word for nap? Yes! Then why are our LPM blog readers called siestas? One time Beth typed out the word "sistas," referring to our blog readers, and her spell checker wanted her to change it to "siestas." The name stuck! You can read about it here. If you read this blog, consider yourself a siesta! It's just another word for sister.

Ok, Sistas..guess Siesta Beth explained that, uh?? I'm still confused...I guess I'll still say It's all Good in the Sista Hood!! Just less confusing for the sistas that have not been "clued" in...

I'm feeling a little chewed on at this moment...:( Is is OK for me to Whine a little...I promise, just a little....OK...THANKS!! I know this will make me feel soooo much better!!

Here goes....I've been researching and typing notes for the Divine Design conference I'm speaking at in a few weeks. I started in MARCH - doing all my research and preparing just like any good girl would do...well, my computer totally crashed....I lost it ALL...did you get that?? A L L - ALL - not my salvation or anything like that...all my study material....well, I shook it off and told myself "it's ok...it's all good in the Sista-Hood"!!! Well, to this day I still cannot access my outlook and get my contact information...it's been a NIGHTMARE!!! oh, ok...breathe!!!

Well, since the other computer took a nose dive...my sweet man (Todd) bought me a precious new (pink) laptop....cute..cute!! Ok..well, I've been LOVIN" it...until last night... yeah...get ready! I had my notes all typed - with an outline and everything....I went to add a few scriptures and it ask "do you want to replace existing file"....I thought uummm....sure...well, it replaced it alright...with a blank page!!! YIKES!!!! I totally erased my notes!!

What do you think GOD is trying to tell me...or is this a ploy of the wicked one???

SO, it's 5am'ish and I'm up with my Sweet JESUS and HE is ever so precious...HE has it ALL UNDER HIS CONTROL!!! PRAISE GOD!!

Hey Sistas! Today we concluded "Measureless Love"it was totally awesome! If I could only love unconditionally...I try so hard, but it ALWAYS seems that my love has limitations. I am praying and believing GOD to show me how to love this way...but with each and every prayer I seem to be tested...uuhhmmm....maybe I should rethink that prayer... you know it's kinda like praying for patience....NO.. DO NOT PRAY FOR PATIENCE...THAT BRINGS TRIBULATIONS!! You will have your patience's tested over and over...PRAY FOR ENDURANCE!! Learned that a long time ago!! Any way, I'm always so sad when Bible Study ends... (Next one starts 8-12-08 - "Wising UP") love all you precious Sistas... I was given a darling book on sheep...I love the sayings in it...like you are ewe-nique!! Just too cute!!

How about us Girls?? We had a fabulous time at The Deeper Still Conference. This picture was taken on Saturday as we were leaving Phillips Arena. I'm the one with the green swirly pom pom...you know I'm a cheerleader for CHRIST!!GO- FIGHT -WIN GOOOOO JESUS!!!!

OK, you got it!!

Anyway, we had a perfect weekend - YES we did!! When GOD is LARGE and in CHARGE it is PERFECT!! And oh, I want HIM to receive all the glory!! HE held us together and saw us through because you and I know HE'S the SUPERGLUE!

Oh I have to tell you this, my hubby (Todd) took this picture. He is the cutest, yummiest man...He drove us around and took excellent care of us, he even attended the conference. He wasn't alone my Siesta Colleen's hubby (Kerry) also went with us.
I love my man to pieces and I'm so glad that he let's me be me...cause I'm a little quirky..I get in these silly moods...He is very quiet and reserved and I'm... well let's just say I'm the opposite of that...giggle - giggle :)

The Ugly Duckling

It has been years since I've thought about the book I read over and over as a child...The Ugly Duckling..When I was around nine years old I felt like the ugly duckling. My parents were going through a divorce and during the 70's all the kids had their Mom and Dad...Divorce back then, yeah I was the only one in my 4th grade class...so that made me different..my grades struggled and my Mom made the decision to have me repeat the 4th grade again. Now that will make you stick out like the ugly duckling.I would read this book over and over - I loved the part where the ugly Duckling turns into a beautiful swan and she didn't even recognize herself in the reflection of the water. Isn't that what GOD does with us, he takes our ugliness and make us beautiful and then we see HIS reflection as we look at ourselves. So if your struggling today with a case of the "I feel ugly"...so did the ugly duckling...but in time (the right time) you will be beautiful....The LORD gave us that promise in HIS word...I'll make all things beautiful in my time!! Thank you sweet, LORD..you do that just for us.
